Debutante Presentation
31st Rose Medallion Ball
Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort
25135 Park Lantern
Dana Point, CA 92629
Sunday, May 27, 2018
6:00pm - midnight
Our optional Debutante Presentation, the Rose Medallion Ball, is a traditional and ceremonial part of our organization that showcases our self-improvement program and celebrates our seniors. We live in a very casual age, and Assisteens have few opportunities to go to formal events and experience what it is like to sit through a formal program and dinner.
Our Rose Medallion Ball is completely self-funded apart from our Assisteen philanthropic work.
Symbolism of THE Debutante Presentation
White Dress
The white dress is indicative of freshness, new beginnings, and an innocence of spirit. Each young lady celebrates today, a new position in life, one that will be filled with new things, new ideas, new people, and new places.
Escorted by Family
This walk with family symbolizes a lifetime of parental and family support and caring. Parents have offered an arm to guide their footsteps and a shoulder to lean on for encouragement.
The Final Group Walk
The group walk emphasizes the lasting friendships that have been cultivated and nurtured over the last years.
The Final Walk Alone
The walk alone indicates their readiness to accept adult independence, their ability to stand alone, and their eagerness to accept the challenges of the future.

Join our Committee
The Rose Medallion Ball is the Crowning Jewel celebrating our Assisteens Seniors. It's a wonderful experience to bring this event to life for our Seniors and their families. To serve on this committee, we ask for participation from underclassmen parents so that senior parents can be guests and enjoy this evening with their senior. Please email event chair, Carolyn Mower, at cemower@me.com if you wish to be part of this memorable event as a committee member.
